Why most dental pricing is misleading

And how this practice is different.

The dental industry has a pricing problem.

Most practices publish a low per-tooth orper-implant figure — and then add bone grafting, imaging, temporaries, surgical guides, sedation, and laboratory fees as separate line items. By the time the final invoice arrives, the patient has paid significantly more than the figure that attracted them.

This practice operates differently.

Every price quoted here includes everything required to complete the treatment from first clinical step to final restoration. Bone grafting where required. Surgical guides. Temporaries. All laboratory fees. All follow-up appointments. All complications that arise from our work.

The quote you receive at your free consultation is the amount you pay. Not an estimate. Not subject to revision. The amount.

If your case requires something that changes the scope — such as an unexpected clinical finding during surgery — we will discuss it with you before proceeding. You are never presented with a surprise invoice.

That is what all-inclusive means here.

The price quoted at consultation is fixed.Complications from our work are our cost.No surprises. Ever.

MAKING IT MANAGEABLE

This Is an Investment. We Understand That.

Most patients use a combination of payment pathways. We walk you through every option at your consultation - no hidden fees, no financial surprises.

Early Release of Superannuation

This is the most significant and least-known financial pathway available to dental patients in Australia. If you are experiencing any of the following, you may qualify for early compassionate release of your superannuation:

  • Chronic dental pain or infection

  • Missing teeth affecting your ability   to eat or chew

  • Dental conditions impacting your  general physical health

  • Dental conditions impacting your   mental health or psychological well being

The ATO assesses each application individually. We assist patients through the applicationprocess — documentation, clinical letters, and support — at no charge.

Many patients access between $15,000 and $40,000 through this pathway.

Combined with other pathways below,it frequently covers all or most of thetreatment cost.

We can begin the super application processat your free consultation.

TLC Payment Plans

We partner with TLC (Total Lifestyle Credit)to offer flexible dental financingfrom $2,001 to $50,000.

Key Features:
  • No upfront deposit required

  • Flexible repayment terms

  • Apply online in minutes

  • Same-day approval in most cases

  • Available for all treatments

How it works in practice: A patient with a $29,000 full arch treatmentaccessed $20,000 from superannuationand financed the remaining $9,000 throughTLC at manageable monthly repayments.

The treatment was fully funded beforethe first appointment.

Staged Treatment Plans

The most clinically natural way to manage the financial commitment —because the treatment is already staged across time for biological reasons.

How this works:
  • Full arch: Phase I (surgery) paid at surgery.Phase III (final ceramic) paid 12+ months later. The financial commitment is naturally split across time.

  • Ceramic and veneers: Upper arch first, lower arch months later. Each phase is clinically complete and functional at every interim step.

  • Multiple implants: One or two implants now, returning for additional implants when ready. The plan is designed to be clinically sound at every stage — not just at completion.

We design staged plans that look intentional and function properly at each phase. You are never left with an incomplete result.

These three pathways work best in combination. Superannuation accesses a lump sum. TLC finances the gap. Staged treatment spreads the remaining commitment across months or years. Most patients who initially assume a treatmentis financially impossible find — after walkingthrough these options at consultation — that it is significantly more achievable than expected. The consultation costs nothing. Finding out what is possible costs nothing.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

The Questions Patients Ask Before They Commit.

There are two honest answers to this.

First: our prices may not actually be higher when you compare like for like. Many practices quote a low headline figure and then add bone grafting, imaging, temporaries, surgical guides, and laboratory fees separately. Our all-inclusive pricing frequently compares favourably to practices with lower headline numbers once all additions are factored in.

Second: in cases where our price is genuinelyhigher, it reflects the clinical standard —Nobel Biocare and Straumann implant systems, e.max ceramic restorations, specialist laboratory fabrication, a single experienced clinician managing your case from start to finish, and a guaranteed integration protocol with no additional cost for complications.

Budget implants and cheap veneers exist. The long-term cost of redoing them is consistently higher than the initial saving.

We will never pressure you to choose this practice. But we will always be honest about what the difference in pricing reflects.

In many cases, yes. The ATO allows early compassionate release of superannuation for dental treatment when you can demonstrate:

  • Acute or chronic pain

  • Missing teeth or conditions affecting your ability to eat

  • Dental conditions impacting your physical or mental health

We assist patients through the application process at no charge — including preparing the clinical letters and documentation the ATO requires.

Many full arch patients access between$15,000 and $40,000 through this pathway. Many single implant patients access $5,000–$15,000.

Whether you qualify is determined by the ATO, not by us. But we will prepare the strongest possible application based on your clinical presentation.

The best way to start is to book a free consultation so we can assess your clinical eligibilityand begin the application documentation.

Yes, in part. Most major dental health fund policies attract rebates on portions of treatment —particularly for clinical procedures like extractions, consultations, and in some cases crown and implant components.

The rebate amounts depend on your specific fund and level of cover. We are recognised by all major health funds.

Before your consultation, check your policy's major dental benefit. When you attend, bring your health fund card and we will check your entitlements at the reception desk.

Health fund rebates are in addition to —not instead of — any superannuation accessor payment plan financing.

TLC (Total Lifestyle Credit) is a specialistdental finance provider that offers loans specifically for healthcare treatments.

Key details:

  • Finance from $2,001 to $50,000

  • No upfront deposit required

  • Flexible repayment terms

  • Application is online and typically returns same-day approval

  • Available for all treatments at this practice

TLC is not a credit card — it is a dedicated healthcare loan with terms designed formajor dental treatment. Monthly repayments are fixed for the term.

Can you see what the result will look like before treatment begins?

Staged treatment is not a compromise —it is a clinically sound approach that we plan for from the start.

For example:

  • Full arch: Phase I surgery funded now, Phase III ceramic upgrade in 12+ months. You have fixed teeth at every stage.

  • Veneers: Upper arch now, lower arch when budget allows. Upper arch result looks complete in the interim.

  • Multiple implants: Two implants now, returning for the remaining implants later. The plan accounts for the interim period.

We never leave you with a half-finished clinical situation. Every staged plan is designed to be functionally and aesthetically complete at each interim step.

This is discussed at consultation and reflected in your treatment plan.

The consultation is completely free. It includes a 3D CBCT bone scan (valuedat $500+), high-resolution photography, full bite and functional assessment, and a written treatment plan with fixed all-inclusive pricing.

The $50 deposit secures your appointment time. It is returned in full the moment you attend. It is not a fee — it exists to protect your appointment slot and ensure appointment times are respected.

If you cannot attend and give adequate notice,we reschedule. If you cancel with insufficient notice, the $50 is forfeited. This is standard practice for complimentary consultations in professional healthcare settings.

The prices on this page reflect our current pricing structure. Laboratory costs, material costs, and operational costs do change over time.

If you are quoted a price at consultation, that price is valid for 3 months from thedate of your consultation. After 3 months, please contact us to confirm current pricing before proceeding.

We do not increase prices mid-treatment. Once treatment is underway, the quoted price is fixed for the duration of your case.
